The update will happen between April 7th and 8th. Once updated, the new Scopes will require your approval.

How to approve the new Scopes

Once we add the new scopes (between April 7th and 8th), you'll need to approve them to keep using the app seamlessly. To do so, please follow the guide below:

Approving via the Admin Console

Why we are adding new Scopes

What exactly changes?

We are updating the list of OAuth Scopes used by the Signature Manager app. Scopes are permissions created and managed by Google, that allow our app to access specific data on your domain. We then use such data to Publish signatures to your users with their information.

To introduce new features, such as publishing to Groups and Organizational Units, we had to request additional scopes which allow us to see your list of Groups and OUs. Below is a summary of what’s changing:

Scopes list

Here is a list of scopes that our application uses after the update. You can see that we left 5 scopes from the past version, we added 3 new scopes and deleted 1, we no longer utilize.

Scopes that remain unchanged:

Newly added Scopes:

These new scopes allow the app to read Groups and Organizational Units, enabling publishing to those entities, and access additional user profile details (e.g., profile pictures).

Removed Scopes:

This scope allowed us to send preview emails to your inboxes, but we implemented another solution for this feature and we no longer need this scope.
