We’re happy to bring you the latest updates to your Signature Manager for Gmail experience!
Over the past month, we’ve made some essential change – an update to the API scopes our application uses. This change has unlocked a number of your most requested features — and we didn’t stop there. Check out what’s new and improved below!
✨ What’s New?
✅ New HTML Attributes available
You now have access to a wider range of dynamic HTML attributes, making your signatures more personalized. These include:
- Profile picture
- First and Last name
- Additional attributes — [see the full list here]
✅ User count preview
Before publishing, you’ll now see the exact number of users the signature is targeting.
✅ Confirmation pop-up window
To prevent accidental deployments, a confirmation window will now appear before publishing a signature.
✅ Publish to Google Groups and Organizational units (OUs)
Yes, it’s finally here! You can now select Groups or specific OUs when assigning signatures, giving you better control over deployments.
✅ Visible signature name
You can now view the name of the applied signature directly in the signature details UI — making it quicker to verify which signature is in use.
✨ Bug fixes
☑️ Unpublishing signatures with deleted users
Previously, if a user was deleted, it prevented you from unpublishing a signature they were assigned to. This is now resolved — removing a user won’t block you from unpublishing signature in which they were added.
☑️ Template visual
We fixed an issue where creating a new signature would sometimes carry over settings from an existing one. Now, when you create a new signature, it starts with a clean, blank template as expected.
Thanks again for being a part of our Signature Manager community — your feedback helps us improve every day. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!
